| Special skills related to racing: | Since we have much more time than money, we do 99% of our own work to the car. The only thing that we did not do oureselves was painting the "flames" on the cowl and lacing the front wheel spokes. The family buisness is a Machine / Welding shop. (manual and CNC machines & MIG/TIG welding) We are not an "engine machine shop" but we can do just about antyhing else. We are currently working on increasing our market share of the driveline buisness including precision driveshaft balancing. Our shop is at the members' disposal. | How did you become a member?: | Bored with 15yrs of bracket racing. We thought nostalgia racing might be fun. Found Ed Fargo and Southern Slingshots on the web and then purchased/completly disassembled/overhauled out current car from Maine. Joined the club in 2004. First race was 2005 Rockingham "charity show" |
